- Many pre-existing medical conditions covered as standard (click on Medical Screening for details of the questions that you will be asked) If your have to answer ‘Yes’ to any of these questions, you can either proceed without cover for that Medical Condition, or refer to our Medical Screening where you may be able to obtain cover. An additional premium may apply, how much will depend on individual circumstances.

Eligible Persons:
Individual, spouse or partner (as long as they live at the same address, unless otherwise accepted by us in writing) who have been resident of the United Kingdom for 6 months or more prior to this travel insurance starting.
Persons over 84 years of age, meaning having reached their 85th birthday at the date of issue of this Certificate, are not eligible for cover under Single Trip travel insurance. Persons over 65 years of age, meaning having reached their 66th birthday at the date of issue of this Certificate, are not eligible for cover under Long Stay Trip travel insurance. Persons over 74 years of age, meaning having reached their 75th birthday at the date of issue of this Certificate, are not eligible for cover under Annual Multi Trip travel insurance.
Health/ Medical Pre-screening:
These questions form part of the travel insurance policy issue process and you will be asked to complete these questions for each named person on the policy. Please contact us if you require any clarification regarding the cover provided for pre-existing medical conditions.
MEDICAL PRE SCREENING QUESTIONS
Q1. Any respiratory condition (relating to the lungs or breathing), heart condition, stroke, Crohn’s disease, epilepsy or cancer for which you have ever received treatment (including surgery, tests or investigations by your doctor or a consultant/specialist and prescribed drugs or medication).
Q2. Any medical condition for which you have received surgery, in-patient treatment or investigations in a hospital or clinic within the last twelve months.
Q3. Any medical condition for which you are taking prescribed drugs or medication.
